Plan ahead and hire a wedding planner

“Advance planning makes a big difference,” says MJ.

Both wedding planners suggest that a minimum of six months is ideal to plan and organize a larger wedding for several hundred guests – but smaller ones can be arranged more quickly.

MJ suggests a small event of up to a hundred people could be put together in around a month. But as with all things there’s generally a trade-off between speed, expense and quality, so the more advance notice you can give, the better.
